Loan Calculator
Find the monthly payment and total interest for any fixed-rate auto, personal or student loan.
Loan payment formula
The monthly payment is M = P·r(1+r)n / ((1+r)n−1), with r = APR ÷ 12 and n = number of months. When the rate is 0%, the payment is simply P ÷ n.
Tips for a cheaper loan
A shorter term raises the monthly payment but cuts total interest sharply. Compare 36, 48 and 60 months here before you sign, and check the effect of paying a little extra every month.
